WCNY Broadcast  and Education Center (415 W. Fayette St. Syracuse, NY 13204)

Program: Chad Rogers (King+King), Debbie Stack (WCNY)

The meeting will feature a technical tour of WCNY'S new state-of-the-art facility. Tour run by Chad Rogers from King and King and Debbie Stack from WCNY Staff. Contained within its 56,000 square feet are two TV studios, two radio studios, seven technical editing suites, a production control room, public café and courtyard. The showpiece of the Education Center is Enterprise America. A small town has been created with 14 businesses and a city hall for students to apply core curriculum to real-life situations and learn leadership and entrepreneurial skills. The energy-efficient building meets LEED "green" building standards, and rooftop solar panels provide 95 kW of solar electricity WCNY uses for its high-demand power needs.
